Fully intregrated air quality monitoring

IQAir Indoor and Outdoor Air Quality Monitors integrate with the AirVisual app. The app offers customizable alerts when air quality exceeds set thresholds and enables remote monitoring, making it easy to track and manage indoor air quality from anywhere. This integration provides seamless access to comprehensive air quality data, helping users make informed decisions to improve their environment.

Engineered to accurately measure indoor air quality.

Measures smoke and fine dust (PM2.5), carbon dioxide (CO2), temperature and relative humidity. Designed to measure indoor air quality inside homes, businesses, schools and other public facilities. Monitors air pollution generated indoors by activities such as cooking, smoking, wood burning, interior decoration and renovation. Also tracks the ingress of ambient air pollution from traffic, industry, agriculture, dust storms and wildfires.

AirVisual Outdoor

Monitor up to 8 environmental parameters

Measures smoke (PM1), fine dust (PM2.5), coarse dust (PM10), temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure. Available optional CO2 sensor. Ideal for monitoring local outdoor air quality in residential neighborhoods, traffic school grounds, industrial areas and cities. AirVisual Outdoor is great for measuring air pollution exposure from traffic, industry, construction agriculture, dust storms, wildfire and waste burning.

The AirVisual air quality monitors are designed to detect these pollutants

The AirVisual Pro can monitor up to 5 environmental parameters; AQI, PM2.5, CO2, Temperature, and Humidity. While the AirVisual Outdoor can monitor up to 8 environmental parameters; AQI, PM1, PM2.5, PM10, Temperature, Humidity, Barometric Pressure and optional CO2.

AQI

Air quality index

AQI, or Air Quality Index, is a system for translating sometimes confusing or unintuitive pollutant concentration measurements, into one easy-to-understand scale to clearly represent the health risk posed by ambient air pollution.

 PM1

Ultra-fine particles

PM1 refers to particulate matter smaller than 1 micron. Its extremely small size makes it especially dangerous, as it can penetrate deep into lung tissue and enter the bloodstream. Once inside, these particles can circulate throughout the body and contribute to a range of systemic health effects.

PM2.5

Fine particles

PM2.5 particles measure 2.5 microns or less in diameter. PM2.5 particles are so small they can only be seen with an electron microscope. Due to its small size, PM2.5 can remain suspended in the air for long periods of time and can be absorbed deep into the bloodstream upon inhalation.

 PM10

Coarse particules

PM10 is suspended coarse particulate matter, either solid or liquid, with a diameter of 10 micrometers (µm) or less. For comparison, a human hair is, on average, 50 to 70 µm in diameter.

 Temp.

 Temperature

Temperature is vital for air quality monitoring as it affects pollutant formation, dispersion, and sensor accuracy. High temperatures can increase pollution, while temperature inversions trap pollutants, worsening air quality. Monitoring it helps predict pollution risks and ensures accurate readings.

AirVisual Outdoor

 Humidity

 Relative humidity

Humidity is important for air quality monitoring as it affects health, pollutant behavior, and sensor accuracy. High humidity can worsen respiratory issues, promote mold, and alter pollutant levels, while low humidity increases virus spread. Monitoring it ensures a healthier environment.

AirVisual Outdoor

Barometer

Barometric pressure of high & low pressure systems

Barometric pressure is important for monitoring air quality because it affects the movement and dispersion of pollutants in the atmosphere. High pressure systems can cause stagnant air conditions, trapping pollutants close to the ground and leading to poor air quality. In contrast, low pressure systems can enhance air circulation, dispersing pollutants more effectively.

CO2*

Optional CO2 modules

At room temperature, carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless, odorless gas formed from carbon and oxygen atoms. The fourth most common gas found in the earth’s atmosphere next to nitrogen, oxygen, and argon, CO2 can also be liquid or solid. In its solid form, CO2 is known as dry ice.

★★★★ Overall rating 4.2 (5) reviews

See why customers around the world love the AirVisual Pro & Airvisual Outdoor

★★★★★ Has everything that I was looking for

The AirVisual Outdoor had all of the features that I was looking for. Setting it up was very quick and it didn't take them too long to approve my station and make it public.

★★★★★ Real-Time Quality Air Monitor

I wanted quantifiable data to assure my purifier is actually making a difference to the air in my home.

★★★★★ Simple to set up and informative

It was easy to set up and install. I got the indoor and outdoor monitor together. I would recommend getting both together as you get the full range of information. I live next to the freeway so I was interested to see the readings of pollution and PM 2.5 levels outside of my house compared to indoors...

shay104, Los Angeles, CA

★★★★★ Excellent Features

This monitor provides the air quality index for inside and outside air. It has inside and outside temperature readings, inside humidity, inside carbon dioxide level with a graph showing these levels for the past 12 hours.

– Ashland, OR

★★★★★ Robust and precise, feature-packed and (sic) seamless integration

Both the iPhone app and the device itself exceeded my expectations in terms of design and functionality. The seamless integration between hardware and software not only made it easy to monitor the air quality around my home but also allowed me to share this valuable information with the wider community.

★★★★★ Good to know the air I’m breathing

a great and good looking device on any desktop in any home telling you to open a window or two to get your CO down or close windows to keep the PM out. Indoor and Outdoor on one great App 😉
